Got the experience to make sushi and it tasted delicious, if I so say myself. Then went for dinner and had miso soup and yakimeshi. Tasted good. Limited vegetarian options I would say.

Ralph Seidl is the reason I kept returning to Mikado Japanese Restaurant during my stay. His exceptional service, warmth, and attentiveness made each visit feel special. He went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met, and his genuine kindness made me feel like a valued guest every time. Ralph's dedication truly stands out, and he deserves not only a raise but recognition for making my experience unforgettable. Thank you, Ralph, for making Mikado feel like home!

Excellent food and experience. Ralph was so much fun and his conversation was great. Exaul did a great job and even got me (a grumpy old man) laughing and engaged! Overall, amazing…. Such a nice time with the family.

Ralph was our server tonight and did an amazing job. We also had a fabulous Koch, who was very kind and funny. The whole experience was wonderful.

What a fun night. We have gone to these types of dynamic cooking in front of you Japanese restaurants before. Several and this one did not disappoint. The food was amazing. We loved that they also had great sushi options but truthfully the full meal package was too much food already. The service was also great. Not somewhere you go every week but for sure a fun diner experience with a group.

We received exemplary service, and the atmosphere was on par for a Japanese teppanyaki experience. We ordered: Teppanyaki , , tuna, chicken, and scallops - all were prepared and seasoned well. (5/5 ) We had a great time and enjoyed our this dining experience.

We stayed in Marriott Puerto Vallarta and decided to eat here during our visit. However, the restaurant was full and we cannot get in due to no reservation. Recommend to make reservation if plan to visit this restaurant. We decided to place an order for to go. The food was really good like the reviewers said. Not the best japanese restaurant compare to other countries but good to visit while in Puerto Vallarta. The food was edible and good. The best was the shrimps and they are huge and yummy. The bao also taste good. The dessert cakes are OK.
